The good news has started in 2018; Microsoft added new product called Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC). The D365BC product is a monthly subscription cloud based solution. This multi-tenant/shared cloud environment was designed so partners can create industry and verticalized solutions for business by writing code using Extensions 2.0. Moving to D365 Business Central is not a straight forward option for most organizations using Dynamics NAV.
