Let Us Quickly Get To Our Expert's Point Of View

Question 1- What are some of the top Microsoft technology trends to watch out for in 2023?

The answer to this question is quite simple. The biggest news of 2023, which will be fully implemented in 2024, will be Copilot. Copilot will revolutionize approaching and using the most common applications such as Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint, and the entire Microsoft Viva suite. It will feel like having a new one, Microsoft 365. In reality, Artificial Intelligence in its various components will be the focus of attention for the end of 2023 and throughout 2024.

Question 2: What are some opportunities you would be looking at this year?

As a "fan" of the Power Platform, I cannot fail to mention this platform.

More enterprise-level applications will be created in a "low code - no code" mode.

Even while creating the applications themselves, Copilot will bring about a real revolution. From what can be seen in the first preview versions, the new features released will make it faster and easier to create applications, workflows, and chatbots.

As for SharePoint, we will also have some trending news. Microsoft Syntex will radically change the way of doing document management and content classification by also exploiting, in this case, what artificial intelligence makes available.

Question 3: Would you like to share some tips on Power Platform and SharePoint implementation?

If you cannot wait for Copilot to launch, installing artificial intelligence in our applications is now possible by exploiting different ways. For example, the AI Builder models allow us to easily extract content from our documents or recognize objects within images. Or to check the sentiment of an email. All without writing a line of code.

With Microsoft Syntex, we can now create modern templates by inserting text (and images) dynamically, perhaps by extracting this content from other documents present on SharePoint. By carrying out this process using Power Automate. In short, an authentic revolution in terms of document management.

Question 4: What is the potential for Microsoft Partners in Italy?

Today it is no longer possible to “do it yourself.” It's time to play as a team!

Microsoft’s partner ecosystem combination represents the winning combination of products and turnkey projects. This is to make the most of the potential of Microsoft 365 for all customers.

Question 5: How can we leverage Microsoft 365 and Power Apps for improved collaboration?

Power Apps is already included in Microsoft 365. This fact must lead all customers to approach this new way of creating applications. Remember that we don't limit ourselves to the Microsoft 365 world when discussing Power Apps. Today we have more than 1000 connectors that enable our applications for most applications and databases.

And we must not forget the most used collaboration tool in Modern Work – Microsoft Teams. And the best part is that Power Apps allows you to create Teams-ready applications and take advantage of Dataverse for Teams.

What is the best event that you attended recently? What were your key takeaways?

As a speaker, I was lucky to attend the latest European Power Platform Conference in Dublin last June.

It was an extraordinary experience. What struck me the most was the high level of professionalism of all the participants and their curiosity. This fact convinces me even more about how the "low code" approach will represent a new way of developing applications shortly.
